Our office for THENNAGAM CHIT FUND PRIVATE LIMITED is located at 26/1, Thanjai Main Road in Vangarampettai. We are right in the Papanasam area, which is a place with a lot of history and regular working folks. The building is easy to spot if you are driving down the main road towards Thanjavur. It’s a basic office setup. We have a few desks, some chairs for the members, and lots of steel cupboards for the files. We’ve been operating here for a while, just doing the daily work of managing chit funds. It’s not a complex process, but it requires a lot of attention to detail so no one gets shorted. We spend a lot of time writing in notebooks and updating the computer records. The air is often thick with the smell of the nearby shops and the sound of buses passing by. We don't have a marketing budget or a fancy logo. We just rely on the fact that people in Vangarampettai know we are here. If a member has a problem, they just walk in and we talk about it across the table. It’s very informal in that sense. We like being part of the local economy. It’s steady work, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We aren't looking to change the world, just to keep the chits running properly.
