The Bronze Creative

The Bronze Creative is located at 82, mariyamman koil street in Thimmakudi. We are just near the Swamimalai post. This area is famous for bronze work, so we fit right in with the rest of the shops. Our workshop is a bit dusty and the floors are always covered in bits of sand and metal shavings. That is just how it is when you are working with bronze all day. It’s hot work, especially when the furnace is going, but we are used to it by now. We are not a big factory. It is more of a small group of us who know the craft. We spend our days carving, casting, and polishing. Sometimes a piece takes much longer than we thought, so we stay late under the dim lights. Mariyamman koil street is usually busy with people going to the temple or visiting other workshops. We have been at number 82 for a long time. People know they can find us here if they need something made or repaired. We don't use fancy brochures or have a website that looks like a magazine. We just show people what we are working on at the moment. It is honest work and it keeps our hands full. Thimmakudi is a good place for this kind of thing, and we are happy to be a part of the local trade here, just doing what we know how to do.
