Sugam Hospital

Setting up here in Aranthangi has been a long process but we have stayed in this spot for quite some time now. The hospital is just a part of the daily life for people living in this town. It is not a very big town, so news travels fast and everyone knows where we are located. The building has seen its fair share of rain and sun over the years. Inside, the walls are a plain color and we have the usual benches for people to wait on. It can get quite loud when the families come in together, but that is just how it is here. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines or big TV screens in the lobby. It is just a place where people come when they aren't feeling well. I spend most of my time making sure the lights are working and the floors are swept. Aranthangi is a quiet place mostly, except for market days. On those days, the street outside gets packed with cycles and people walking. We just keep the doors open and do our bit. It is a lot of work keeping a hospital running in a place like this but we just take it one day at a time. Nothing fancy, just the basics that people need when they visit us. We have some trees out front that provide a bit of shade in the afternoons. It keeps the front area a bit cooler.
