Sri Geetham Nidhi Limited is located at No.460/10 Papanadu Main Rd, up on the first floor of the Baba Complex in Orattanad. If you are looking for us, you’ll find us right there in Thanjavur district. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you’re coming up. We’ve got a small office space that stays quite busy during the morning hours. Usually, we are just sitting here at the desks handling the daily stuff that comes with a Nidhi company. It is not a very quiet place because of all the traffic on the main road outside, but we are used to the noise by now. The Baba Complex has other shops too, so there is always someone moving around in the hallway. We have a couple of cupboards full of files and a computer that gets slow sometimes. Most of the people who come in are locals from around Orattanad or nearby villages in Thanjavur. We don’t have much in the way of decorations, just a calendar on the wall and some pictures. It’s a practical space for practical work. When the power goes out, we just open the windows and wait for it to come back. We have been in this spot for a bit and people know where to find us. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people doing their jobs every day.
