Sri Balaji Bricks

If you are driving along the Pudukkottai Main Road, you will eventually see us at 143/14, Sengipatty. That is where Sri Balaji Bricks is based. Being right on the main road means we get a lot of dust from the passing buses and lorries, but it also makes it very easy for our customers to find us. We don’t have any big marketing slogans or anything like that. We are just out here in Sengipatty doing the same work we have done for a long time. The yard is quite big, and it takes a lot of effort to keep everything sorted properly. On hot days, the ground feels like it is baking, which I guess is fitting for a place that deals with bricks. We have a couple of dogs that hang around the office and sleep under the trucks when it’s sunny. It’s not a fancy operation by any means. We just have our piles of bricks and a ledger where we write everything down by hand. Most of our customers are builders from the surrounding villages who just need reliable stuff for their projects. We don't promise anything we can't do, and we don't try to sound more important than we are. It’s just a brickyard on the side of a busy road where people work hard and go home tired at the end of the day.
