Shri Oppiliyappan Chits Private Limited

We are over here in Kumbakonam, specifically in the Chekkanganni area at Raghavendra Nagar. Our door number is 1/64 if you are looking for us. It is just a regular office where we handle the chit funds for the local people around Thanjavur district. We have been in this spot for a bit now, and most folks know where to find the building. The weather gets quite warm here so we usually keep the fans running all day while we do the paperwork. It is not a very big place, just enough room for a few desks and some chairs for people to sit when they come by to pay their monthly amounts or ask questions about how the groups work. Sometimes it gets busy on the collection days, and other times it is just quiet with us catching up on the ledgers. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It is just a practical space for work. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or people from the nearby streets who have been with us for years. We handle the documentation ourselves and make sure the entries are written down properly in the books. If you are walking down from the main part of town, you can find us easily enough. We keep the doors open during the day so anyone can just step in and talk. It is a straightforward setup really, nothing complicated about how we run things day to day here in Kumbakonam.
