Our workshop is located right on Periyar Street, just across from the Government Hospital. It is a busy spot with a lot of people passing by every day. We have been here at No. 5 for a while now, focusing on various engineering tasks. The shop floor is usually filled with the sound of metal being cut or welded. We handle a lot of small and medium projects for people in the area. It is not a shiny corporate office; it’s a place where we actually get our hands dirty. The guys on the team have been working with machines for years. We do a lot of custom fabrication when a local business needs a specific part or a repair. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets pretty intense, especially in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. We don’t spend much time on paperwork or fancy meetings. Most of our day is spent looking at blueprints or fixing equipment that has broken down. People know they can just walk into the shop and find someone to talk to about their project. It’s a practical environment. Having the hospital right across the street means there is always movement outside. We stay busy from morning till the lights go off at night. It’s good work and we are glad to be part of the neighborhood here. We just take it one job at a time and keep moving.
