Pattukottai Unavu Catering Private Limited

Out here on Muthupettai Road, things start moving pretty early. We are Pattukottai Unavu Catering Private Limited, and our spot is at number 9314. It’s not a fancy building, just a practical space where we can get the cooking done. Most of the morning is spent moving heavy sacks of rice and getting the big burners going. The kitchen gets really hot once the steam starts rising from the pots, so we usually keep the back door open to let some air in. You can hear the traffic passing by on the road all day long, mostly trucks and people heading further out toward Muthupettai. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the cooking area and a place to store the utensils. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the morning rush. The floors are always getting scrubbed because things get messy when you’re dealing with that much gravy and oil. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps for a break when the sun isn't too strong. There isn't much shade around here, so you just find a spot where you can. We’ve been at this for a while now, and the routine stays the same every day. We just focus on getting the food packed into the containers and loaded onto the vehicles so they can get where they need to go before lunch. It’s just us doing the daily work on the edge of town. When the rain comes, we have to move the wood inside quickly.
