Palayan Foundation

People usually find us on Koliyar Street here in Pattukotai. We’ve been at number 211 for a while now. It’s just a regular spot, nothing too fancy, but it works for what we do every day. A few of us started Palayan Foundation because we saw stuff that needed fixing around here. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of paperwork usually piled up on the table. Sometimes the street gets a bit noisy during the day, especially when the local market is busy, but you get used to it. We spend most of our time just talking to folks who walk in or making calls to get things moving. It isn't always smooth sailing, and sometimes we run out of tea or the internet goes down, but we just keep at it. Most of the people working here live close by, so we know the neighbors pretty well. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to handle the tasks in front of us without making too much of a fuss. If you're walking down Koliyar Street, you'll see our sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun lately. We keep the door open mostly to let a breeze in. It's just a small group of us trying to stay organized and helpful to whoever comes by asking for a hand with things.
