Our office is located in Annanagar, Srinivasanallur, which is in the Kumbakonam area of Thanjavur district. We are at I3, close to the Thirunagasweram post office. This is a fairly quiet part of Tamil Nadu, which is a nice change from the crowded cities. We handle local affairs for the Neyveli Lignite Corporation here. Most of our days are spent on routine matters like managing local documents and speaking with people who have business with the corporation. It is a very simple setup with no fancy decorations or modern office gadgets. We just have our desks, some chairs, and plenty of files to keep us busy. The people in the local area know us quite well. We have been in this spot long enough that we are just part of the neighborhood now. We do not bother with big mission statements or any of that promotional language you see elsewhere. We just focus on being helpful and getting the work done without making a big fuss about it. The weather in Thanjavur can get very hot, so we often start our work early to stay ahead of the heat. It is an honest way to work, and we appreciate the relationships we have built with the locals over the years. We like the quiet and steady pace of life here. It allows us to focus on the tasks at hand without the distractions of a big city office.
