National Pharma Hospital & Research Institute

National Pharma Hospital & Research Institute is situated at 111 Medical College Road. Being on Medical College Road means we are right in the thick of all the medical activity in the city. There are always ambulances passing by and students from the college walking around in their white coats. Our building at number 111 is a sturdy place that houses both our hospital side and the research wing. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the different departments, but we have managed to make it work over the years. The research part of the building is usually a lot quieter than the hospital side where the patients are. We have labs filled with all sorts of equipment and benches covered in glass jars and paperwork. It’s not the most modern-looking place, as we’ve focused more on keeping the equipment running than updating the wallpaper. The staff often works late into the evening, especially when there’s a big research project going on. You’ll often find us sitting in the small staff room having a quick lunch before heading back to the labs. The street outside is noisy from dawn till dusk, but we’ve got thick windows to keep most of that out. It’s just a hardworking environment where everyone knows their job and stays on task without much need for fancy titles or long meetings. We’ve been doing this at Medical College Road for a long time now and like the location.
