Meenakshi Hospital Tanjore

We've been working here at Meenakshi Hospital Tanjore for quite a while now. The building is right by the New Bus Stand Tanjore, which makes it pretty easy for folks coming in from the villages to find us without getting lost in the city traffic. It gets noisy sometimes with all the buses honking outside, but we just get on with our jobs. Most days start early, usually before the first tea stall opens properly, and there's always someone waiting at the door. We don't have fancy office chairs or anything, just the usual hospital stuff that's seen its fair share of use. Our staff stays busy checking charts and making sure patients get their meals on time. It's a lot of walking back and forth through the hallways. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we have the backup ready to go. People recognize us in the market later in the evening because we’re always in our scrubs. It’s just how life is in Tanjore. We see all kinds of people, from young kids with scrapes to the elderly who just need a bit of a check-up. There isn't much time for sitting around talking about big ideas, we just focus on the people who are actually in the rooms right now. It's a plain, honest place where the floors are clean but you can tell many feet have walked over them. We keep the registers updated and the water filters filled up every single morning.
