If you are in Kumbakonam, you can find us on Pettai Kuttiyan Street. We are on the ground floor at 43/5B which makes it easy for the older folks to visit since there are no stairs to worry about. It is a quiet enough street most of the time compared to the main parts of Thanjavur. Our office is where we handle the Nidhi business, mostly just helping people with their small savings and loans. We have a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we fill out the forms. It is a very practical setup without any extra decorations. We focus on getting the paperwork done correctly so there are no issues later on. The staff knows most of the people who walk through the door by name. We think it’s better to run things that way, like a neighborhood shop. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or big offices because that isn't what our members need. They just want a place where they can safely keep their money or get a bit of help when they need it. The air conditioning works most days but sometimes we just leave the door open for a breeze. It’s a humble place but we get the job done every day without fail. We like being part of the local life here in Kumbakonam and keeping things simple for everyone who visits us throughout the month.
