Our place is right on 2602 South Main Street. We focus on natural foods and different kinds of oils under the name Kudagu. It’s a simple operation where we try to keep things as close to nature as we possibly can. We started this because we noticed it was getting harder to find real, unprocessed stuff in the stores these days. Being on South Main Street makes it easy for local people to stop by and see what we have. We aren't a big factory with assembly lines; it's more of a local workshop feel. We take the seeds and the produce and turn them into something you’d actually want to eat at your own table. The oils are pressed carefully to keep the quality. We don't add things like preservatives or chemicals that don't belong there. It's just us and a few machines doing the work day in and day out. People in the neighborhood know us by name, which is nice. We don't have a fancy marketing plan or a big budget for ads. We just focus on getting the food and oils right every day. Sometimes we run out of stock because we don't like to overproduce and let things sit. It's a small-scale life and we honestly like it that way. If you want something that tastes like it should, that’s what we’re doing here. It's a bit messy sometimes, but that's what real food looks like.
