Our office is over on Medical College Road in Thanjavur, specifically at Jayam Nagar. It's close to the medical college, so it's easy to find if you're coming from that way. We mainly deal with people looking to go to the Gulf for work. It’s a lot of paperwork. Visas, passports, medical checks—it never really ends. We have people coming in from all the small villages around here. They sit on the plastic chairs in the waiting area, hoping to get a chance to earn more money abroad. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait for things to load, which gets annoying when someone is in a hurry. My brother and I run the place mostly. It’s a small shop, nothing fancy at all. We have calendars on the wall and a lot of folders. Every day someone comes in asking about a job in Dubai or Qatar. We check the lists we get from the companies and tell them what's available. It is hard work for them, and we just handle the middle part of getting them there. The traffic outside is always loud, but you get used to it. We stay late most nights just to make sure the files are in order for the next morning. It's just a regular local business helping folks get a start somewhere else. We’ve been here for years now and the neighbors all know us well.
