Our office is right here on Appukutti Street in Kumbakonam. If you know the Thanjavur district area well, you’ve probably walked past our building a few times. We deal with Icici Home Finance Corporation Limited matters every day. It’s mostly paperwork and helping people figure out how to manage their home money. The street gets a bit busy during the day, but we are easy to find. We’ve been at 18C for a while now. Most people coming in are just looking for some clear answers about their property files or trying to get a loan sorted out. We don’t have a massive team, just a few of us sitting at our desks working through the files. It isn't a fancy setup. We have chairs for people to wait and some ceiling fans that stay on all day because of the heat. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we get the work done. If you need to drop off documents or ask about interest rates, this is where we do all that stuff. It’s a practical space. We don't spend much time on decorations. Most of the shelf space is just taken up by thick folders and ledgers. We just handle the home finance side of things for the local folks here.
