We have been operating from this same spot for quite a while now. The office isn't much to look at, just a small space at number 25 where we sit down with the students and go over the rules of the road. Thanjavur gets really hot during the day, so we often find ourselves starting the lessons very early in the morning when the sun isn't so strong. It takes a lot of patience to sit in a car all day while someone is learning to use the clutch and gears, but that is just part of the job. We don’t have any big corporate goals or fancy mission statements. We just want to make sure that whoever comes to us ends up being a decent driver who doesn't cause accidents. Most of the people who come here are from the local neighborhood or have heard about us from their friends. We don't spend money on big ads. We just keep our cars in good shape and show up every day to do what needs to be done. It is a simple, honest way to make a living.
