We've been at Theivam Complex for a while now. Just across from the Vallam bus stand. It's busy there, but we like it. Most days we are out at sites, checking on how things are going. Building stuff takes time and there's always something to fix or look at. We handle the paperwork here in the office when it’s too hot outside. The office is small, just enough for some chairs and a desk where we keep the blueprints. People walk in from the bus stand sometimes just to ask directions or see what we do. We mostly work around Thanjavur and the nearby villages. It's a lot of running around, dealing with suppliers and making sure the sand and bricks arrive on time. Sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or transport, but that’s how this business is. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the local way of doing things. It’s not fancy work, but it’s steady. We keep our tools ready and spend most of our mornings on phone calls with masons. If you’re passing by the complex, you might see us there in the evenings trying to wrap up the day's notes. We don't do much advertising; mostly people find us because they know someone we built for. It's just a regular local spot where we try to get the job done without too much fuss and keep things moving forward.
