Balaji Ice

Balaji Ice is located at 178, South Street in Thiruvaiyaru. This is a place where things move a bit slower than the big cities, and we like it that way. Being on South Street, we’re right in the middle of the local life here. We’ve been providing ice to the people of Thiruvaiyaru for a good while. It’s a simple business. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just make sure we have enough ice for the local shops, the functions, and the people who need it at home for whatever reason. The building at 178 is an old one, but it works for us. We spend our days checking the freezing units and loading up for deliveries around town. In a town like this, everyone knows everyone, so we don't need to do much talking about ourselves. People know where to find us when they need something. Sometimes we sit outside when it’s quiet and watch the traffic go by on South Street. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy blocks and keeping the place clean, but it’s what we know. We don't try to be anything we’re not. We are just a local ice supplier trying to do a decent job for our neighbors. It’s been our way for many years now and we don't see any reason to change it. Just plain and simple work every day to keep the town cool.
