Baby Shop

You can find our shop, which we just call Baby Shop, over at 41 Ravi's Plaza on Gandhiadigal Salai in Kumbakonam. It is a straightforward place where local parents come to get things for their kids. We have a variety of items like small clothes, diapers, plastic toys, and some of the basic gear like strollers and tubs. The shop is not very big, so we have to use every bit of wall space we have to hang things up. It can get a little cramped when a few families are in here at the same time, but we like the energy. We have been in Ravi's Plaza for quite a few years now. Most of the people who shop with us are neighbors who live within walking distance of Gandhiadigal Salai. We do not do any fancy advertising or have a big corporate team. It is just a few of us who know where everything is kept. We help people pick out gifts for naming ceremonies or find the right size of shoes for a toddler who will not sit still. The plaza is always bustling, and we know the owners of the other shops nearby. It is a nice community to be part of. The afternoons get really hot here, so we usually keep the door propped open to get a breeze. We do not have any grand plans or missions. We just sell baby supplies and try to be useful to the parents who come in.
