About Jay Refractories – Metals & Minerals in Thangadh
You’ll find us located along Chotila Road. It’s a straightforward location, though the road itself can be a bit rough depending on the time of year. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while now, and the building has definitely aged with us. Refractories involve a lot of heat and heavy materials, so the place isn't exactly a cleanroom. There is dust on almost every surface, and we’ve all stopped trying to keep our clothes perfectly clean a long time ago. The work is steady, and we spend a lot of time monitoring the kilns and checking the quality of the bricks. It’s a bit of a noisy environment, but you get used to the hum of the machinery after a few days. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that; usually, people just know we’re here on the road and stop by when they need something. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a desk that’s piled high with logs. We usually eat our lunch together under the shade of the trees outside when the weather is nice enough. It’s a simple operation where we focus on the day-to-day tasks of production. We don't make much of a fuss about things; we just show up, do the work, and make sure everything is ready for the next day’s schedule. Chotila Road is home for us, and we’re quite content with our little corner of it.
