You can find Zenith Linen India over at number 17 in the Shri Tirupati Industrial area. Being in an industrial zone means there is always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. We work with linen, which is a nice material but it can be finicky to handle. Our space is filled with big tables where we lay out the fabric to check for any flaws or stains. We spend a lot of time walking back and forth across the concrete floor. It is a bit dusty, as you might expect, but we try to keep the linen clean. Most of the staff here have lived in this part of town their whole lives. We know each other's families and how everyone likes their chai. There is no dress code here; we just wear whatever is comfortable for moving boxes and rolls of cloth. The lighting inside could probably be better, but we have some big lamps for when we need to do the detailed work. It is a simple life of measuring, cutting, and packing. Sometimes we get a big order and everyone has to stay late to get it finished, but we do not mind too much. It is part of the rhythm of working in the textile trade. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. We just do the work and try to stay organized. Most days it works out just fine for us.
