Wimco Limited

Wimco has been here on the Kalyan-Badlapur Road in Ambarnath West for a long time. This is a big site, not just a small office. You can see it from the road quite easily. The area around Ambarnath is known for these types of industrial setups. We have many people working here in different sections. It is a busy place from the moment the first shift starts. We have big gates and security, but once you get inside, it’s just a lot of people doing their jobs. We make things that people use every day, and that requires a lot of coordination. The buildings are older and have seen many years of production. There is a lot of history in these walls. We have a canteen where everyone gathers for lunch, and it's probably the liveliest part of the day. The commute can be long for those coming from the city, but the train station is a help. We don't have much time for corporate talk or fancy presentations. We are mostly focused on the machines and the output. Some days are harder than others, especially when a machine breaks down or the weather is too humid. We just deal with it as it comes. It is a massive operation but it feels like a community once you are part of it. We just keep the wheels turning.
