Our office for Warm Seas Shipping Co. Llc. is over in Kopar Khairane, Navi Mumbai. We’re in a row house called Agarwal Sadan, specifically at Plot No. 62 in Sector 1. It’s a bit different from the big office towers you see in other parts of the city. Being in a row house makes it feel a bit more like a home, though we’ve definitely turned it into a workspace. We deal with shipping and maritime stuff. There’s a lot of talk about vessels, ports, and clearing agents in our rooms. Navi Mumbai is a good place for this kind of work because we aren't too far from the main shipping hubs. We have a few desks set up in the main rooms and lots of maps on the walls. It’s usually pretty quiet until someone gets a call from a ship or a port authority. We don’t have a big fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working at our computers or having a quick lunch. It’s a small, dedicated group of people here. We’ve been in this sector for a long time and know the ropes. We don't try to sound like a big global corporation; we’re just a local office handling the paperwork and logistics for ships. It’s steady work and we like being in this part of town. It’s a bit more relaxed than South Mumbai. We spend our days tracking ships and making sure all the port documents are ready.
