Wara Foundation

If you head over to Kalyan West, you’ll find Wara Foundation on the first floor of the Tycoons Sapphire Building. We’re in office number 110 on Godrej Hill Road in the Barave area. It’s a fairly new part of the neighborhood, and the 421301 zip code has been growing a lot lately. Our space is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some chairs for visitors, and a corner where we keep all our supplies. It’s not one of those high-end offices with a view, but it works for us. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics of what we do. We aren't a big team, just a small group of people from the local area. We don't have a receptionist, so we usually just answer the door ourselves. The road outside can get a bit busy during rush hour, but generally, it’s a decent place to work. We like being in Kalyan because it feels a bit more relaxed than central Mumbai. We don’t really do anything promotional or flashy. We just come in, do our hours, and try to keep things moving. There’s always plenty of filing and computer work to keep us occupied. We’ve got a small kettle for tea, which gets used a lot during our afternoon breaks. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We’re just regular folks working out of a regular office in a growing part of town.
