Out here in Mahape, the atmosphere is mostly industrial. We are set up at Plot no. A-246 in the MIDC TTC Industrial Area. It’s a part of Navi Mumbai that feels very different from the residential bits because you have trucks and warehouses everywhere you look. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional place where the work gets done. Thane is just a short trip away but most of the people who work here are local or commute from nearby suburbs. The roads can get pretty dusty with all the construction and movement. Inside the office, it is just us handling the paperwork and whatever else the day brings. We usually grab lunch from the small stalls nearby or bring something from home. It's a no-nonsense kind of environment. People around here are hard workers and we try to keep that same energy going. We have been in this spot for some time now and it suits what we do. The heat in the afternoon can be a bit much sometimes but that’s just part of being in this area. We don’t really have a big sign or anything flashy. It is just a regular office in a busy industrial zone where we keep our heads down and stay busy with the foundation’s routines. We just keep going, day after day, in this little corner of the industrial belt. It works for us.
