Our shop, Metalemms Bombay Pvt. Ltd., is sitting on Plot No. A-184/185 over on 16-Z Road. We are right in the Wagle Industrial Estate, not too far from that big Ashar IT Park. It’s a bit of a contrast, with those modern buildings nearby while we’re over here working with metal. Our place is loud and full of the smell of cutting oil and iron. We handle a lot of heavy stuff, so there’s always a crane or a forklift moving somewhere. We’ve been at this location for many years. The walls have seen a lot of work come through. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We’re just a bunch of folks who know how to work a lathe and a drill press. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the middle of a job, probably covered in a bit of metal shavings. We don't mind the noise; it just sounds like work to us. The traffic near Ashar IT Park can be a mess in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out early. We’re practical people. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. We don't ask for much, just enough work to keep the lights on and the guys paid. It’s a solid business built on just doing the same thing well every day. We’re happy with the shop we’ve built at A-184/185. Most of the guys have worked together for a long time.
