Venky Interiors

Our little shop is located at number seven, Plot seventeen in Sector three. We are right on Janta Market Road here in Nerul. If you know where the post office is, we are very close to that. Navi Mumbai has its own rhythm and being in Nerul feels like being in a proper neighborhood. Most mornings involve opening up the shutters and seeing the early market crowds. Venky Interiors is basically just a few of us trying to get through the daily list of things to do. The shop is small but it fits everything we need for now. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and trying to find the right materials for whoever walked in the day before. It is not always quiet because the road outside stays busy with people going to the market. We take our tea breaks at the stall nearby and usually chat about the jobs we have going on. It is practical work. We don't have a huge marketing team or anything like that. People mostly find us because they live nearby or they were heading to the post office and saw our sign. Sometimes we have samples laying all over the floor which makes it hard to walk around, but we clear it up eventually. It is just the way a local shop runs when there is a lot of work to handle and not enough hours in the day to finish it.
