Veena Nursing Home

Veena Nursing Home is located on Akurli Road in Kandivali East. We’ve been here in Mumbai 400101 for quite a while now. It’s a straightforward nursing home where we take in patients who need a bit more care than a regular clinic can provide. Akurli Road is a busy area, so there is always the sound of rickshaws and cars outside our windows. The building itself is older, and we focus more on what’s happening inside than how the outside looks. We have rooms for patients and a small staff that stays on top of things. It isn't a flashy place with digital screens everywhere. We still use a lot of paper and local knowledge to get things done. People from the surrounding apartment complexes usually come to us because we are close by and they know the name. We handle various medical cases, from minor illnesses to things that require a stay for a few days. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall; we just show up and look after the people who are in the beds. It can be a bit hectic during the morning rounds, but we manage. We aren't part of some big healthcare chain. We are just a local nursing home in Kandivali East doing what we’ve always done. It’s about being there for the neighbors when they need medical help.
