I’ve been working out of this space in Goregaon at B-302 for a good number of years. It’s a quiet building, which is nice when you’re trying to talk to patients without all the street noise coming in. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a desk, some chairs, and my filing cabinets which are getting a bit too full these days. I mostly see people from around the local area who need a check-up or have some health issue that’s been bothering them. Goregaon has changed a lot since I started, but this corner feels the same. I usually get in around the same time every morning and stay until the last person leaves. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so people have to take the stairs, but they don't seem to mind too much. It’s just me and a small bit of help here. I don’t like those big hospital environments where everything feels cold. Here, it’s just a room where we talk about what’s wrong and see how to fix it. I keep a few medical books on the shelf that are quite old now, but the information is still solid. My phone rings quite a bit during the day, mostly people asking if I’m free in the evening. I try to make time for everyone, even if it means staying a bit late. It’s just a regular local practice where we know most of the families by name.
