Drakt Packagings

Our operation is based at Agrawal Industrial Estate, specifically at unit number 7 in building 3 on Sativali Road. This is out in Vasai East, so it’s a very industrial setting. There are trucks coming and going all day long and the sound of machinery is pretty much constant. Our space is more of a workshop than a store. We have machines running and there are usually stacks of materials waiting to be processed. It gets quite warm in here during the summer, so we have a few big fans going all the time to keep the air moving. The floors are concrete and have their share of stains and marks from years of work. We don’t really have a place for visitors to sit, since every square inch is used for storage or production. Vasai is quite a distance from the main city, but this industrial area is where all the action is for us. We spend a lot of time checking the equipment and making sure the outgoing packages are ready for the transport trucks. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping track of numbers. The roads around Sativali can be quite rough, especially when it rains, but we manage to get things out on time. We’ve been in this estate for a bit now and it feels like a community of its own. It’s a noisy, busy place where we just focus on getting the daily production numbers met.
