Vaidikpurn Bharat Foundation

Our little office for Vaidikpurn Bharat Foundation is in Shop Number 25 G at the Cine Wonder building in Kapurbawadi. It’s right on G.B. Road in Thane, which is always packed with cars and buses. Being in a shop makes us very accessible. People just walk in while they are out shopping or going to the movies. It’s a small space, so it gets a bit crowded when more than three people are inside. We have some shelves with books and a couple of desks. We focus on things that are more traditional, trying to keep some of the old ways alive in a fast city like Thane. It’s not high-tech at all. We still use paper registers for a lot of things because it feels more reliable. The staff here are just local folks who live a few kilometers away. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything. Most people find out about us because they saw the sign while waiting for a rickshaw or heard about us from a friend. We spend our days answering questions and organizing small gatherings. It’s a bit noisy because of the main road, but we don’t mind. We just keep the fan running and get on with our tasks. It’s a practical way to run things, and it works for us and the people who visit. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
