You can find our clinic at Panama Planet on Gokhale Road in the Naupada area of Thane West. It is a building that most people in this part of Thane know pretty well. We set up this space to help the local residents with their eye exams and to provide a place where they can get their glasses made. Gokhale Road is a very busy stretch, and we are right in the thick of it. Once you step inside, it is a lot quieter than the street outside. We have the usual vision testing equipment and a modest selection of frames hanging on the walls. We are not a fancy shop with a lot of bells and whistles; it is just a straightforward optician's office. We spend our morning hours checking the lens deliveries and organizing the display cases. People from Naupada usually come in during the late afternoon or evening after they finish their work. We have seen many of the same people for years and have watched their kids grow up. Some folks just stop by to get their frames straightened out because they got bent. We don't mind doing those little repairs. Thane West is a large area, but this particular corner of Naupada has a nice local feel to it. We like being at Panama Planet because it is easy for everyone to find. We just focus on the work.
