Uti Worldwide Pvt Ltd. is based over here in Thane. Our spot is in the 400605 area of Maharashtra, which is a pretty crowded part of the world but we manage. We’ve been operating from this location for quite a bit now. Most of us here just focus on the daily grind of moving things around. It's a lot of coordination. You have to keep track of a million small details or things go sideways fast. We aren't a small shop but we try to keep things simple. In Thane, things move fast and you have to keep up or you get left behind. We spend a lot of our time dealing with shipping documents and making sure the containers are where they should be. It can get stressful when a shipment is delayed, but that’s just the nature of this business. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, drink our coffee, and start sorting through the emails and calls. The team here is mostly local people who know the roads and the ports well. We’ve seen the industry change with all the new tech, but at the end of the day, it’s still about getting a box to a person. We just try to do our jobs without making a big fuss about it. Being in Maharashtra gives us a good base to work from.
