Shri Krishna Wallpaper Carpet

Shri Krishna Wallpaper Carpet is located at Shop No. 5 on Uthalsar Road, and we are pretty easy to find since we are right near the Shivsena office. Being opposite the TMC School means the street is always full of life, especially when the kids are arriving or leaving. The shop is filled with large rolls of carpet and stacks of wallpaper books that take up a lot of space. It can be a bit of a workout moving those heavy rolls around to show a customer the full pattern. The floor is mostly covered with samples, so there isn't much bare space to walk on. We spend our days helping people look through designs and trying to figure out how many meters they need for their rooms. It gets quite dusty with all the fabric and paper, so we are always dusting off the counter. The noise from the school and the traffic on Uthalsar Road is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few hours. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. Sometimes people wander in just because they saw a bright color from the street. We keep the ledger on a small wooden desk in the back and that is where all the business happens. It is a simple way to spend the day, surrounded by patterns and colors while the neighborhood moves along outside our door.
