United Construction

You can find our office up on the tenth floor of Jimmy Tower 2 in Sector 18. Koper Khairane is a busy part of Navi Mumbai, and we’ve been working out of here for a while. We do construction work, mostly around this area and the neighboring sectors as United Construction. It’s a small team, really. We spend most of our mornings on the phone with suppliers or down at the actual building sites. The office is just a place to keep the blueprints and handle the accounts. It’s not a very fancy place, just some desks and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. We don’t go in for big advertisements. Most of our work comes from people seeing what we’ve built nearby. Navi Mumbai is always growing, so there is never a shortage of things to do. We handle the basic stuff—concrete, steel, making sure the walls are straight. It's hard work and the sun can be brutal out there on the scaffolding. We don’t have some grand vision, we just want to build things that don't fall apart. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck being late or a pipe leaking, and we just fix it. That's how it is. If you're in Sector 18, you've probably seen our signs around. We're just a local crew trying to do a decent job for the neighborhood and our clients who trust us.
