Our office is located in Thane West, inside the Greenview CHS at Lok Upvan Phase-II. We are specifically in G-3/204, just off Smt. Gladys Alwares Road. It’s a decent area, not too far from the 2nd Pokharan Road. We handle the agency work for United Arab Shipping Agency Co. (I) Pvt. Ltd., so we are the middle people between the ships and the local businesses. Even though we are in a residential-style complex, the office is all business. There are stacks of shipping documents everywhere you look. We spend our days tracking vessels and talking to port officials. The time zones can be a bit tricky since we deal with international shipping, so sometimes we are here late at night or very early in the morning. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a big sales team. We just answer the phone and help people get their freight cleared. The office is a bit cramped because of all the files, but we manage. We have a small pantry where we make tea and chat about the traffic on the Ghodbunder Road. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of workplace. We don't use fancy business words or have big meetings about strategy. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure no one’s cargo gets stuck for no reason. It’s a lot of detail work, but we are used to it by now. We try to be helpful and stay out of the way.
