Unisource Worldwide Pvt Ltd (Uwpl)

Unisource Worldwide Pvt Ltd (Uwpl) operates out of 404 Shreeji Dham Chs, which is located at Plot No. 18/19 in Sector 50. This is the older part of Seawoods or Dharave, depending on who you ask. It’s a quiet residential area mostly, so our office feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. We focus on sourcing and logistics, helping different businesses get the materials they need from all over. It’s a lot of coordination and keeping track of various suppliers. The office itself is pretty simple, with files stacked up and maps on the walls. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts. We like the traditional way of working where everyone has their own space. Living and working in Navi Mumbai is a bit different from the main city. It’s a bit slower, which we actually like. The commute for most of us isn't too bad since we live nearby. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the work we do for our clients is handled properly. Some days are stressful when shipments get delayed, but we just sit down and work through the problems one by one. There is always a lot of chatter in the office about local stuff, and we keep it very informal here. It’s just how we operate. Most afternoons, we just grab a quick snack from the vendors outside and get back to the phones.
