Unicep Child Foundation

You can find us over in Mira Road East, specifically in Shanti Nagar, Sector 6. We are based in the Guru Krupa housing society. Our office is in Building B3, Flat number 403. It’s a typical residential area, so it’s usually full of activity from the families living around us. We’ve been running the Unicep Child Foundation from this flat for a while now. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we have our desks and some storage for supplies. Being on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice during the summer months. The elevator works most of the time, which is a relief. We don’t have any big corporate signs out front, just a small nameplate. It’s a very quiet operation inside. We spend most of our time dealing with paperwork and organizing things. We aren't fancy people. We wear regular clothes and drink normal tea. The building is a bit older, so there’s always some maintenance work going on somewhere. We like the location because it’s easy for people in the area to reach us. It feels more like a community hub than a formal office. We just take things one day at a time and do what needs to be done without any extra fluff or complicated procedures. It’s simple and it works for us.
