Umesh Traders

Umesh Traders is located at Gala No. 32 on Hanuman Nagar Road No. 28. We are right near the Hanuman Temple, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. The gala is basically just a big room where we store our stock and handle the daily sales. It’s not fancy at all—lots of boxes, some old wooden furniture, and a fan that squeaks a bit when it's on high. We open up early in the morning because that’s when the neighborhood is most active. You can usually hear the temple bells from where we sit, which is actually quite nice. The street can get pretty narrow if a truck is parked nearby, so things get a bit tight sometimes. We’ve been here for a long time, and we know most of the other traders on the road. We don’t spend much on advertising or anything like that; people usually just find us by word of mouth or because they walk past the temple every day. It’s a lot of manual work, moving stuff around and checking the inventory lists. We mostly just drink tea and talk to customers who drop in. It’s a simple life and a simple business, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. That’s just how it is here.
