Nova Impex Mumbai

Nova Impex Mumbai is based out of Shop No. 1 in the Ishwar Co. Op Housing Society. We are right across from the ICICI Bank, which is the easiest way to explain where we are to anyone who asks. Being in a housing society shop means we get to know the neighbors pretty well. We see the same people walking their dogs or going to the bank every morning. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. We handle a lot of impex work, which basically means a lot of phone calls and emails all day. The shop can get a bit warm in the summer, but we have a small fan that helps. We aren't a big corporation with multiple floors. It's just this one shop where we do all our business. Sometimes people walk in thinking we are something else because of the name, but we just explain we do trade and exports. We keep a stack of ledgers on the shelf and the computer is usually running some shipping software. It’s a simple life here. We open up in the morning, handle the day's tasks, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s nice being part of the local community. The bank across the street is always busy, so there’s always a bit of life on the sidewalk. We like our little corner here. It’s not much, but it’s ours and it serves its purpose for Nova Impex.
