Udyam Prabhat Foundation

Our office is in Room No 1 on the ground floor of Lavkush Apartment, right in Kalyan East. It’s a simple A-wing setup. Udyam Prabhat Foundation started because we saw a lot of people in this part of Thane who had the drive to work but didn't know where to start. Kalyan is a busy place, and it’s easy to get lost in the crowd. We aren't a big, polished company. We’re just a few people working out of a small room. We spend our days talking to local youth and folks who want to start something of their own. Maybe they want to open a small shop or learn a new trade. We don't give them big speeches. Instead, we sit down and look at the practical steps. We know the local area well since we live here too. The 421306 pin code is our home. We deal with the same problems everyone else does, like the train delays and the heat. This makes it easier for us to understand what the people coming to us are going through. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or high-tech gear. We just have some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of patience. We try to be a place where someone can come and feel heard. It’s just about helping people get a start in life. We do what we can, one person at a time, right here in Lavkush Apartment.
