Turiyo Foundation

Turiyo Foundation runs out of building number 22 in Sector 54-56-58, over in the NRI area of Nerul. It’s basically just us working from flat 1202. We started this because we wanted to do something useful with our time. Being in a residential spot like this keeps us close to the neighborhood and the people living nearby. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. It is mostly a few of us coordinating things from the dining table or the spare room. We deal with various community bits and pieces that need attention. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped with all the files and supplies, but it works for what we need to do right now. We aren't interested in being some corporate entity; we just like helping out where we can. Most people in the building know who we are by now. We spend our days making calls, organizing small events, and trying to stay on top of the local needs in Nerul. It can get a bit disorganized when things get busy, but we always manage to pull it through. Living and working in the same area means we really see the impact of what we are doing. It's a simple setup, and that's exactly how we like it. No fancy lobby or reception, just a door and a bunch of people trying to do some good.
