Trimurti Paints

Trimurti Paints is based out of No. 3 in the Deshpande Industrial Estate, over in Azad Nagar on Kolshet Road. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of movement around us. Trucks coming in, people moving pallets, and the general noise of other factories nearby. Inside our unit, it's mostly rows and rows of paint cans and large mixing drums. We spend a lot of time matching colors and stirring thick liquids. The floor has spills of every color imaginable from years of work. It’s not a place where you’d wear your best clothes. We handle bulk orders for contractors and some smaller ones for people doing up their houses nearby. The smell of solvents is quite strong, so we always have the vents running. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. It is just us and the paint. We check the labels, mix the batches, and stack the tins for delivery. Sometimes the lids are hard to get off, and we end up with paint on our hands for days. We have a small corner with a table where we eat our lunch and talk about the day’s work. It’s a practical setup. We know the regulars by name, and they know where to find us in the back of the estate. It’s just a local paint business doing its thing and we stay busy with the orders.
