Trilok Textiles

Trilok Textiles is located in the Gulstan Park area of Ulhasnagar. If you know Ulhasnagar, you know it’s the heart of the textile trade around here. We are near Khemani and right opposite the Gurudwara. The sound of the prayers from the Gurudwara is a constant backdrop to our workday, which is actually quite nice. We are also close to the Bhaji Market, so the streets are always crowded with shoppers and vendors. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with rolls of cloth. Sometimes it’s hard to even walk through the aisles because there’s so much stock. We deal with all kinds of fabrics, and our hands are usually stained with dyes or covered in lint by the end of the day. It’s a family-style business, very traditional and straightforward. We don’t go for modern displays or bright neon signs. People come to us because they know we’ve been in Gulstan Park for a long time. The atmosphere in Ulhasnagar is very specific—busy, loud, and full of energy. We fit right into that. Most of our regular customers are people from the neighborhood or other small businesses. We spend a lot of time sitting on the floor sorting through orders or measuring out lengths of fabric for someone who needs it urgently. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like the textile world. It’s what we know best, and we just keep doing it every day.
