If you walk through Charai in Thane West, you will find us at Shop No.2 in Casa Piedade. It’s an older building with a bit of character to it. We are situated right opposite the Shiv Sena Shaka, which is a big landmark around here. People use that to find their way to us all the time. Charai is a nice neighborhood, very local and a bit quieter than the main station area, but still busy enough. Our space is small and functional. We have a few maps pinned up and some old furniture that’s seen better days. It’s where we do all our work. You might hear the local kids playing in the lane or the sound of someone’s radio from the apartments above. We like the vibe of being in a residential-commercial mix. It feels real. At Travels Swapnil, we don't bother with much decoration. The walls are a bit plain, but they hold up. The floor is easy to sweep, which is good because people bring in a lot of street grit. We spend most of our hours here, answer the phone, and talk to whoever walks in. It’s a simple routine that we’ve stuck to for years. Being across from the Shaka means there’s always something happening on the street, so it never gets boring. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs. It’s just how things are run in this corner of the city.
