We are based in the Thane Municipal Corporation office, specifically at 302/Gardenia in Everest World, Thane (W). Working in a municipal setting means there is always a lot going on. The Gardenia building is where we handle a lot of the day-to-day tasks that keep things moving in our part of the city. It isn't like those shiny corporate offices you see in the movies. We have desks piled with folders, people coming in with questions about local regulations, and a lot of meetings about infrastructure. Thane is growing fast, and being in the middle of it at Everest World gives us a good view of how things are changing. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and planning out how things should work. It can be a bit slow sometimes with all the procedures we have to follow, but we just try to get through the stack of files on our desks. The office environment is pretty plain, just people doing their jobs and trying to serve the public. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall or anything. It's more about making sure the permits are processed and the projects are on track. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, there's a steady stream of phone calls and emails to deal with. We’re just local staff working for the city, trying to keep things organized in a busy place like Thane West. It’s a lot of routine, but it's important for the city.
