Tekadiwal Electronics

Our workshop is over at the Krishna Laxmi Indl. Estate, specifically units 211 and 212. Vartak Nagar is a busy area, lots of trucks and noise from the other units on Pokhran Road 1. We’ve been here long enough that the guards know us by name and wave when we come in. Inside, it's mostly benches covered in components and testing gear. It gets a bit dusty because of the industrial setting, but we try to keep the sensitive stuff covered up. Tekadiwal Electronics isn't a showroom; it's a place where things get built and fixed. Sometimes we stay late when a big batch needs to be finished, and you can hear the other factories winding down for the night. The light in the back room flickers a little, we keep meaning to fix it. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight to the back where the work happens. It’s practical. We spend a lot of time looking at circuits and checking connections. It can be tedious, but it’s what we do. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby tiffin service. We don't have a lot of corporate meetings or anything like that. We just talk across the room while we work. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. There is always something that needs soldering or testing before the day ends.
