Syntel Inc

At Syntel Inc, we are based out of the Hyde Park Society in Thane West. It’s a pretty nice area near Tulsidham, though finding parking can be a bit of a challenge some days. We are in unit D1 101, which has become like a second home to many of us. We do a lot of tech-related work, mostly focusing on software and systems that other businesses use to keep their operations moving. It is not always exciting, but it is necessary. Our team is small enough that we all know each other’s lunch habits. We usually have the fans going and the computers humming all day long. Sometimes the monsoon rains in Mumbai make the commute to Thane a bit slow, but we always make it in. We don’t have a big HR department or any of that. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out over a desk. We spend quite a bit of time testing things and making sure everything works like it should before we call it a day. It’s regular work and we try to stay on top of the changes in technology, even if it feels like things move too fast sometimes. We’ve been in this society for a while now and the neighbors are used to us coming and going at all hours. It’s just a normal office doing its thing without any fuss or fancy titles involved.
