Our company, Swabs Tapes India P Ltd., is based out of the Patel Industrial Estate No. 1 in Vasai East. We are located in Gala Nos. 106 and 107 on the first floor. Being in Navghar means we are right in the middle of a lot of manufacturing and industrial activity. We mostly deal with different kinds of tapes and similar products. The warehouse part of our space is usually full of rolls of tape stacked up high. It’s a busy place, and the sound of packing tape being pulled is something we hear all day long. The stairs up to our unit can be a bit of a workout, but we don't mind it. Our team consists of people from the local Thane area who know the business well. We don't have a lot of fancy office furniture; we mostly have workstations and storage racks. The weather in Vasai can get pretty humid, which we have to keep an eye on because of the materials we work with. Most days are spent checking orders and making sure everything is labeled right. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable one that gets the job done. It’s a practical way of working. We’ve been at this address for a while and we’ve seen the industrial estate grow and change around us. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of inventory, but we like the routine of it all.
